Why 007 First Light can trigger motion sickness
The camera sits behind Bond and follows him through stealth, shootouts and set pieces, so the picture keeps moving even when you stand still. Screen shake and blur effects add movement that your body never feels. We found no field of view slider in the guides checked. The options that exist target the shake and the blur, the two effects you can reduce.
- Screen shake during action scenes
- Blur, wobble and distortion effects over a moving camera
- A fixed field of view, with no slider in the guides checked

What helps beyond the settings
- Turn on screen shake reduction and switch off Motion Blur and the blur, wobble and distortion effects before the first mission.
- Lower camera sensitivity, and sit farther from the screen so the picture fills less of your view.
- Take a break between missions, and stop at the first queasy signal.
The fixes people reach for once they step away from the screen are covered separately, with the trials attached: the remedy verdicts.
