How Dizzout handles personal information across its website, mobile applications, quizzes, and direct subscription checkout.

Dizzout does not sell personal information for money. Payments are processed by Stripe or the applicable app store, and you may contact us at hello@dizzout.com to exercise privacy rights.

1. Scope and Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Kinda Smart Inc., doing business as Dizzout ("Dizzout," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use dizzout.com, the Dizzout mobile applications, our quizzes and onboarding flows, direct checkout pages, customer support, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

For purposes of applicable privacy laws, Kinda Smart Inc. is the controller or business responsible for the personal information described in this Policy, unless another notice states otherwise.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Contact and account information.
such as your email address, account credentials, and communications preferences.
Quiz and profile responses.
such as travel habits, motion-sickness triggers, symptoms, preferences, and goals that you choose to submit. These responses support personalization and are not used to diagnose a medical condition.
Support and feedback.
messages, survey responses, reviews, and other information you provide when contacting us.
Transaction information.
the plan selected, amount, currency, purchase date, subscription status, and transaction or customer identifiers. We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

Information collected automatically

Device and log information.
IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, timestamps, and security logs.
Usage and diagnostics.
pages or screens viewed, button interactions, session duration, audio-session activity, app performance, crash data, and diagnostic events.
Cookies and similar technologies.
essential storage used to operate the Services and, where permitted, analytics or advertising technologies used to understand performance and measure campaigns.

Some information may be considered sensitive under local law, including answers concerning symptoms or wellness. We use such information only for the purposes described here, apply additional care to it, and obtain consent where required.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide and personalize the Services, including generating travel profiles and presenting relevant Dizzout plans or guidance.
  • Create and manage accounts, subscriptions, entitlements, and customer support requests.
  • Process transactions, prevent fraud, and maintain payment and accounting records.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, secure, analyze, and improve the website and applications.
  • Send service messages, purchase confirmations, product updates, and marketing communications where permitted. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Dizzout, users, and others.

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract; consent; compliance with legal obligations; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. How We Share Information

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the following purposes:

Service providers.
hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, customer support, security, and conversion-platform providers, including providers supporting Web2Wave-hosted flows.
Payment providers.
Stripe for direct website payments and Apple App Store or Google Play for purchases made through their stores. These providers process payment details under their own privacy notices.
Analytics and advertising partners.
where enabled and permitted by your consent or applicable law, to measure use, attribution, and campaign performance. We do not sell personal information for money.
Professional advisers and authorities.
auditors, lawyers, insurers, regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.
Corporate transactions.
a buyer, investor, successor, or adviser in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may also use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

6. International Data Transfers

Dizzout is operated from the United States and may use providers located in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the information and the context in which it was collected. We may retain transaction records for the period required by law and keep de-identified or aggregated information for analytics and product improvement.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information.
  • Request restriction of processing or receive a portable copy of certain information.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent and manage cookie, notification, or marketing preferences.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, where those concepts apply under U.S. state law.
  • Appeal a denied request and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

To submit a request, email hello@dizzout.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

9. Cookies and Your Choices

You can use available cookie controls to select essential-only settings or permit optional analytics and advertising technologies. Browser and device settings may also allow you to delete cookies, limit ad tracking, or control notifications. Where required by applicable law, we recognize supported opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser and device sending the signal.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission where appropriate, access controls, and service-provider protections. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children and Teen Users

The Services are not directed to children under 13. Users under 16, or under the age of digital consent where they live, should use the Services only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion.

The Services may link to third-party sites, app stores, payment providers, or social platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and Dizzout is not responsible for those practices.

13. U.S. State Privacy Notice

In the preceding 12 months, Dizzout may have collected the categories described above: identifiers; commercial information; internet or electronic activity; approximate geolocation inferred from IP; device and diagnostic information; user-submitted wellness or preference information; and inferences used to personalize the Services. We use and disclose these categories for the business and commercial purposes described in this Policy. Dizzout does not sell personal information for money. Optional advertising technologies may constitute "sharing" or targeted advertising under some state laws; where applicable, you may opt out through available cookie controls or by contacting us.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, or our practices. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required.
