Why Halo: Campaign Evolved can trigger motion sickness

PC Gamer wrote that the game has some of the worst motion blur it has experienced in recent times, and that between 30 and 60 frames per second it becomes a nightmare of blurred frames. It also suggests turning off screen shake because of the amount of grenades in the game. Halo Support says a higher field of view can reduce the feeling of tunnel vision.

  • Motion blur, which PC Gamer found heavy at low frame rates
  • Screen shake from grenades and explosions
  • Chromatic aberration and film grain, which the game used throughout until the August update added toggles
