Why Enshrouded can trigger motion sickness
The camera follows your character and re-orients itself during fights, so the picture keeps moving even when you only steer. Keen Games says the 1.0 update tuned the camera so that, in the best case, you forget it exists, and it added the camera inertia setting for players who feel motion sickness. Screen shake adds more movement on top, and Keen has made it a switch you can turn off. Building has a separate first-person camera that you toggle on.
- Camera inertia, which Keen Games added a setting to reduce
- Screen shake during combat and other events
- Camera changes in fights, such as auto-orientation and the first-person building view
